Founder and President

Chris Arbutina serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at Custom Communications, Inc. Prior to forming Custom Communications, Mr. Arbutina served in various roles in the telecommunications industry. His experience with Time Warner Cable, Global Interactive, Media Works, DirecTV, Frontier Communications, Verizon, and DISH Network have provided the basis for success in a demanding installation environment. As CEO of Custom Communications, Mr. Arbutina has grown the companies partnerships to include DISH Network, Verizon, Centurylink, Frontier Communications, and Xirrus. Custom Communications maintains a technician installation staff of more than 300 highly-trained professional installers. Mr. Arbutina started Custom Communications in 1998, and he currently lives with his wife and 3 children in Raleigh, NC.

Mike joined the team in 2006, and since that time, he’s made it a personal goal to develop an informed understanding of all aspects of Custom Communications’s business operations. This comprehensive knowledge has uniquely positioned him to ensure our operational strategies are well aligned with our overall financial goals. Mike’s team is responsible for all accounting, including reporting, compliance, and day-to-day business transactions. Mike brings 33 years of experience to the controller role, and he is keenly aware of the value of consistent internal controls in managing corporate financial activities. Mike is a doting grandfather who enjoys spending time with his family, his grandchildren, and working in his wood shop.

A powerhouse when it comes to overseeing the day to day operations of our company, Luke plays a key role in the development of Custom Communications and its exceptional working environment. Striving to reach new levels of excellence, he works everyday to build a dedicated team who loves what they do and their happiness. Boasting a diverse background and a passion for what he does, Luke has a unique ability to positively impact lives. This ability gives him an advantage when it comes to successfully problem solving in order to achieve success. With strong accomplishments as an on-site project manager in the heavy equipment industry as well as in the role of logistic manager of multi-million dollar shipments, he understands that the quality of environments directly relates to productivity. In his spare time, full enjoyment of life is Luke’s goals. Spending time restoring classic cars, riding dirt bikes, and operating heavy machinery, this is a man who loves to live in the fast lane.

Consistently achieved exceptional and measurable results while leading teams of 10 in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in both civilian and military capacities. Possess a comprehensive background in Training and Direct Management derived from conducting domestic and global operations in Bahrain. Managed risk upon multiple lines and saving an organization $3M while meeting the expectations of senior leadership. Possess extensive knowledge in maintaining customer relationships. Recipient of multiple awards for outstanding performance and professionalism in the United States Army. Career supported by specialized technical military training and a Bachelor of Science Business Management.

Director of Marketing

Jeff recognized early the game-changing effects of data on production outcomes, and he leveraged this understanding to establish himself as a highly sought after marketing production manager. Jeff launched his own marketing production firm in 2002 and operated as the dedicated fulfillment provider for several Fortune 500 advertising and marketing firms before selling his business to join Custom Communications’s team in 2009. In 2013, Jeff brought his understanding of large-scale project management and data-driven results to our company’s recruiting efforts, increasing resource count by 130% in less than two years. Jeff enjoys all aspects of music, playing both drums and guitar, and he looks forward to exploring the world and learning new things with his wife and children.

Senior Manager Call Center Operations

Victoria is an experienced project manager, sales manager, and call center director who developed her skills as a front line leader in high-volume call center environments. She was well suited to assume control of Custom Communications’s large call center operations and worked quickly to ensure cost-effective, customer-focused operational efficiency. Victoria is an avid geocacher and the mother of one college-aged son.

Wade Minter

Wade Minter

Chief Technology Officer

Wade leads Custom Communications toward world domination through the management of all technology operations. He leads the company’s internal software development team, which builds the software tools. Graduating from The College of William & Mary with a degree in Computer Science, he began his career in technology with a bang. He was part of the founding team and CTO at sports technology company TeamSnap, and has been the lead technology executive at Adwerx and WeaveUp. In his spare time, he is the ring announcer for a professional wrestling federation, an improv comedian, and the arena public address announcer for NC State Wolfpack hockey and the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes. He leads a full life.
